For a frustration-free dosing experience, whether you slow feed or dose all at once, upgrade your Timemore Sculptor 064 or 064S with my 3D-printed single dose hopper. The most important feature it provides is an effective anti popcorn design and pairing with my optional custom silicone bellows will help you get precisely what you put into the grinder for each dose, up to 0.0g retention on each grind*, all while aesthetically matching the grinder.

Adapted from the hopper I made for its bigger brother, the Sculptor 078/S, it features all the same features.

Features (V3 As of 2025 June 29)

Reliable Anti-Popcorning. Whether you dose all at once or slow feed, the beans and fragments stay within the hopper and flow into the grinder.

Matching Aesthetics. The single dose hopper replaces the original stock hopper while maintaining its cylindrical aesthetic motifs, with a textured outer surface to match the grinder's surface.

Strongly Anchored. Simple installation uses both stock screws (not included) to securely attach to the grinder, taking just a minute or two. Also makes use of the stock silicone screw hole plugs (not included) to plug up the screw holes.

Optional Bellows. While the grinder's Rotary Knocker is already very effective at reducing retention, my custom silicone bellows can take it a step further to help bring that rentention down to 0.0g*.

Compact Design. All the critical features listed above, condensed into an optimally small form factor.

Optional Lid. Helps keep the hopper dust free, like when left for an extended period of time. Lid can cover over the bellows if there is one sitting in the hopper.

Built-in groove at the bottom of the hopper for an o-ring (not included) for an extra effective hopper seal.

Compatibility

  • Timemore Sculptor 064
  • Timemore Sculptor 064S
  • Note: May not work with the anti-static/anti-popcorn metal piece between the hopper and the grinder, so it may need to be removed during hopper installation
  • (Optional silicone bellows is 100% cross-compatible with Niche Zero and Duo and several other INTROVERT Single Dose Hoppers)
  • Not compatible with Sculptor 078 series (separate listing here)

Tools Required For Installation

  • Small diameter (under 4.5mm) phillips 1 tip screwdriver. Make sure the tip matches exactly, and exercise extra caution because the screws are easy to strip.

Subpar Bellows Option

These bellows will have a pronounced distorted form, and possibly other surface blemishes, but they otherwise are fully functional. Although some of the openings of the bellows may look far from circular, they will conform when placed into the hopper.

*Disclaimer

  • In some situations like listed below, retention may vary from 0.0g-0.2g
  • Grinding after cleaning the insides of the grinder will cause more retention for a few doses
  • Grinding after changing grind size may cause some retention
  • Using darker roasts may cause more retention than lighter roasts
  • RDT method not recommended
  • Achieve the best results with lighter roasted beans and at a consistent grind size setting.
  • Listing does not include the grinder, the stock hopper, nor the screws or silicone plugs in the photos
  • Colour of the hopper will not 100% match the grinder due to difference in materials, but I tried my best to source the closest shade PLA
  • Due to the nature of the white 3D printing material, the white hopper may appear to be translucent in some lighting situations, showing a cellular pattern inside.
  • If your hopper or bellows is not working as well as you hoped, please drop me a message and I'll do my best to help out.

Unfortunately much more frustrating than stock hopper

I was really looking forward to this. When I put all beans in at once they actually "jam" and/or feed incredibly slowly into the machine. If I just put the beans in and close the lid it takes many times longer than the original hopper. I removed the original anti-static metal piece.

It does advertise that it slightly slows down the feed speed but in my experience, adding 17.5g of beans it takes so long I need to cycle the grinder multiple times to have them all go through or use a pen to push beans in quicker.

Hi Christian, really sorry to hear that! I've been hearing from a few of my buyers that are running into the same issue you are describing, and I've been working on a refined version for the past few weeks. I stand by my products, so I'd be happy to send you the revised version free of charge, as well as anyone else who is running into the same issue. This new version will also be sold from now on on the website, marked V3. The new version will feed just as quickly as the stock hopper did, and will have much less chance of beans getting stuck in the throat of the hopper. Let me know if you'd like me to send you the new version.

Best,
Andrew

Looks Great gets the job half done

So I got it for my 064s. Unfortunately the beans can't all go down smoothly smoothly into the grinder. Perhaps the width of the 064s is too small, so the beans are usually able to prop themselves up to block the hopper. I always have to prod the beans about to get them to go down. So unless we use real tiny beans or do slow feeding, it might work.
