About

It originally started as a one-day project for Andrew to design and make his own WDT Tool. He had just seen a few posts in a row on Reddit where people used paperclips stuck in a cork, and a Youtube video by a popular coffee influencer regarding WDT Tools, he was fully convinced that had to get his own. Andrew also started with a paperclip and a few iterations later he landed on a 3D printed design he liked, and at the same time he thought: "why not share it with others?"

Soon after, Andrew opened a shop on Etsy (originally UTYPEDESIGNCA). His shop soon grew to include both WDT tools and an expanding line of bellows for popular grinders in the market.

The name INTROVERT embodies one of Andrew's own traits. He’s extremely introverted and tends to also be shy and more quiet in crowds, but he’s also constantly observing, and reflecting internally. He tries his best to infuse simplicity, efficiency, effectiveness, and great user experience into his products.

Being a coffee enthusiast, Andrew keeps track of opportunities and problems to solve in the growing third-wave coffee industry. The main mission of this company is to solve these problems and innovate in order to improve and enhance the workflow of people's everyday coffee routines.

Introvert is based in Vancouver, Canada.
