I recently purchased my first coffee grinder, a Barazza ESP. I knew that I wanted to do single dose versus storing the beans in the OEM hopper. After lots of searching I happened upon this page. The product met all expectations. Well built and the bellows majorly helps with retention, especially in combination with using the RDT method. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

Coffee bellows for Niche Zero grinder work extremely well! No more tapping the grinder or having grinds fall out all over the counter. Fits beautifully under the lid as well.

The Alpha step down basket is a high quality bullet design with a pattern of fine holes for extraction. The deep puck in a 49mm size is an alternative to achieve a shot that is similar to a 25gram does in a "20 gram basket. Dosing by depth is the way to achieve the best from the coffee. But, 25 grams is a lot of coffee. Thev49mm achieves this goal with 20-21g. Perfect for a 2.5/1 50g drink.

I am glad i ordered the alpha version of the step down. The results are incredible and so delicious. I use 16grams in and 32grams out, and the step-down basket is so forgiving with the grind size that delicious creamy espresso is out with 2 or 3 grind settings i tried. Amazing to receive all the accessories at no cost, thanks to Andrew for including that. Surprisingly, my order did not come with a dosing ring, but I ordered one from Amazon and have zero complaints with the step-down basket and the construction of the basket.

If you’re a coffee enthusiast who loves experimenting, the Introvert 58 → 49 mm step-down basket is a great upgrade to explore. It keeps your 58 mm setup but gives you a deeper 49 mm puck, meaning more body, balance, and consistency with less channeling and fewer wasted shots.

Just check compatibility and be ready to adjust your grind and dose slightly (usually coarser in my case). Also the taste of my espressos have been on point, so definitely might elevate your espresso game.

Without this step down basket I might not have started doing Slowpresso shots which taste out of this world. Amazing with milk. Really enjoying this basket!

conclusion first:
this was made with passion. im very happy with the product and result. worth every penny. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

the nitpicky;
so lets talk about product.
1. VERY well made. fits snug like a glove. print quality is very high. white color is very close.. dont feel the need to airbrushpaint it.
2. the important coffee. this fixes the 078s. really;
- fixes bean feed. they all go through.
- fixes consistent feed. - shot time variance tremendously reduced. this is key. i now pull up to 0.4 to 0.8g difference on same recipe. was avg above 4.0g difference per shot.
- clean workflow. can dump and forget. no fidgeting with covers.
- coffee grounds exit splatters less, more downward. hence cleaner counter. not sure how but i noticed this benefit.

i did taped/printed and modded some stuff myself, but those are nowhere near finetuned as this product.

current: 078s ssp +introvertmod + ecm mechanika max.

for those who read my initial review;
had dome hiccups with shopping custom tax, but introvert helped promptly with immediate action on feedback. something rarely seen nowadays. Kudos for great team.
those who seen the previous review on ship/tax/custom issues should know it has been sorted. buy with confidence.

I purchased this hopper in hopes of improving the workflow and reducing the popcorning and I gotta say it does the job much better than expected. On top of that it also looks amazing and integrates super well into the design of the machine. Definitely a huge recommendation!

Single dose hopper works great and bellows help significantly reduce retention. He was even able to print the product in white for me. Can’t recommend enough.

The grinder itself is pretty great for the price point, but it does have some slight retention. With the bellows, all that is taken care of!! You are able to get every last gram from your grinder! 100% worth getting 🙌🏻

I found out about this company through a YouTube comment, and I'm thankful that I did. The wider hopper and bellows are a welcomed addition to my coffee workflow—no more tapping the hopper with my palm to get the last bit of grinds out. Looks & functions great

I was super stoked to find that a product like this exists that allows me to upgrade my Macap Leo 55 grinder instead of having to sell it to buy a single dose grinder. This is a welcome addition for anyone trying to streamline their workflow, reduce waste and minimize retention. The funnel and bellow combo looks smart (see photo), and it’s much easier to work with than a full hopper.

These bellows fit the Niche Zero 1 perfectly and really work well. There is absolutely no retention after using them and they are a really great price. Delivery to the UK was really quit. I thoroughly recommend them
