As you may know, Canada Post (my primary shipping provider) started a strike on November 15th and as of now is still on strike. All operations by them have stopped.
Temporary Solution During Strike
Fortunately, I'm currently using another shipping provider, Chit Chats, to keep shipping. Although they claim that they are unaffected directly by the Canada Post strike, I imagine they might be indirectly affected as there should be an influx of new packages and customers shipping with them.
What This Means For You
You won't need to do anything differently or pay extra for shipping. Shipping quotes will still be based on Canada Post (or free during my Black Friday sale), and I will be shipping by this alternative service. Please note that the estimated delivery times quoted by the site may not be correct during this time, whether it's later or earlier. Also, there will be no difference which type of shipping you choose on the checkout screen. Most packages I send using this alternative service will have tracking. I aim to ship out orders 1-3 times per week during this time.
For Canadian Customers Only
The shipper requests that you include buzzer numbers if you live in an apartment building. Please include the number in the apartment text box when checking out your order.
During the strike, shipping to Canadian PO Boxes will not be possible.
