Silicone Bellows Upgrade for Baratza Encore - Near Zero Retention

Say goodbye to the usual retention when single dosing, and instead get much closer to your exact dose every time*. This flexible silicone bellows fits in between your machine's stock hopper and stock lid and transforms it into a blower, allowing you to achieve 0.0g - 0.2g retention on every grind*. The silicone version is completely designed in-house and is superior in flexibility, durability, and air tightness, allowing for a more effective clearing of retention per pump compared to our previous 3D printed version (discontinued August 2024).

[Additional Notes]

The bellows will add an additional 3.0cm (1 3/16in) to the height of your hopper after installation, but you need additional space above it. Measuring from the top of your lid without the bellows, you need about 9-13cm (3 1/2 ~ 5 1/8in) of clearance space to operate it comfortably.

[*Disclaimers]

• The finest grind range (0-20) may decrease bellows effectiveness due to restricted air flow. Adjust to a coarser range (20+) while pumping bellows to fully clear retention.
• Grinding after changing grind size or using darker roasts/oilier beans may still cause some retention
• Achieve the best results with lighter roasted beans and at a consistent grind size setting
• The coarser you grind, the more likely you'll achieve zero retention
• The more beans you store in the hopper, the less effective the bellows may be due to restricted airflow
  
• Does not include the grinder nor the stock hopper
  
• Some Baratza hoppers are slightly thinner, which may cause the bellows to fit loosely around it. In this case, add a little bit of tape around the rim to increase its thickness before installing bellows.
